The Queen is considering adopting two dogs into the royal household. Finlay and Amoleh met whilst Finlay was travelling in Sri Lanka. The pair are now living together in Dundee and they’re still doing yoga. Bill and Nancy Fenwick were Royal Gamekeeper and the Queen’s Corgi trainer respectively. Photographer Amanda Jones from Massachusetts, USA, has perfectly captured how bittersweet and emotional it is to watch a dog become a wise old soul. Crufts begins today at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham UK, running until Sunday. The English Cocker Spaniel has won the most Best-in-Show titles, with seven triumphs. For 2015, Kennel Club entry figures show that 21,474 dogs will be taking part in breed judging, Gamekeepers’ classes and the Obedience and Agility Championships. The Hero Dogs competition, now known as Friends for Life, first featured in 2004. All finalists are invited to Crufts, and the winner is chosen by the public. [Read More]
